ESG survey launched – have your say

The Insurance Investment Exchange, in partnership with IFI Global and 3SG, has launched a survey of institutional asset managers to gather fresh insights into their responses to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda.

ESG has become the topic du jour across the investment industry, with endless commentaries, papers, solutions and endorsements devoted to the topic. It has frequently featured as a discussion topic at Insurance Investment Exchange events.

The Asset Managers: ESG Business Practices Survey will get behind the grand statements and sparkling veneer and ask: What is the substance?

As asset managers respond to stakeholders and make their own decisions on how to tackle the longer-term risks highlighted by ESG, there is little clarity on what the industry is doing as a whole and how the business model is evolving.

This collaboration between Insurance Investment Exchange, IFI Global and 3SG aims to provide fresh insights by focusing on asset managers around the world and their ESG business practices. By reaching out to those asset managers serving the insurance investment community we will be able to provide a deep, relevant insight into the approach of asset managers to the wide range of ESG issues. It will explore where ESG sits internally and how it is manifest in relationships with clients, counterparties and other service providers.

Follow the link below to take the survey. We estimate that it will take around 5-8 minutes to complete and you do not have to answer all the questions.

All responses will be strictly confidential. The data obtained from this research study will be anonymised and published in aggregate form only. As a thank you for participating, we will share the results and our analysis of the emerging trends within the asset management universe with participants later this year, as well as invite them to a special roundtable debating the results.
